Expert allied health care for every stage of life
Whether you're an NDIS participant, have a Medicare care plan, or are self-funded — our team of experienced allied health professionals is here to help you reach your goals.
Whole-person care across three disciplines
Allied Health Aid provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology to people across Melbourne and surrounds. We work with NDIS participants, Medicare recipients, private health members, and self-funded clients — delivering care in our clinics, in your home, or via telehealth.
Move better. Live stronger.
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapists help you restore movement, manage pain, and build strength — whether you're recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or working towards greater independence.
Who is this for?
Suitable for NDIS participants, Medicare care plan recipients, private health members, and self-funded clients of all ages.
What to expect
Your first session includes a thorough assessment of your movement, strength, and goals. From there, we build a personalised treatment plan that may include hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, hydrotherapy, and home program support.
Conditions & goals we support
- Neurological conditions (stroke, cerebral palsy, MS)
- Musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Developmental delays in children
- Falls prevention and balance
- Spinal cord injury and acquired brain injury
Live independently. Participate fully.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapists support you to engage in the everyday activities that matter most — from personal care and home management to work, study, and community participation.
Who is this for?
Suitable for NDIS participants, Medicare care plan recipients, private health members, and self-funded clients across all age groups.
What to expect
We begin with a functional assessment in your home or clinic to understand your daily routines, environment, and goals. Your OT will then recommend strategies, assistive technology, home modifications, or skill-building programs tailored to you.
Conditions & goals we support
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Intellectual disability
- Acquired brain injury and stroke
- Mental health conditions
- Sensory processing difficulties
- Age-related functional decline
Communicate with confidence.
Speech Pathology
Our speech pathologists work with children and adults to improve communication, language, and swallowing — helping you connect with the people and world around you.
Who is this for?
Suitable for NDIS participants, Medicare care plan recipients, private health members, and self-funded clients from early childhood through adulthood.
What to expect
Your first appointment involves a comprehensive assessment of your communication or swallowing needs. We then develop a therapy plan that may include direct therapy, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) support, and strategies for family and carers.
Conditions & goals we support
- Speech sound disorders and stuttering
- Language delay and disorder
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Acquired communication disorders (aphasia, dysarthria)
- Swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
- Literacy and learning difficulties
