NDIS Allied Health
Expert Allied Health Support for NDIS Participants
Allied Health Aid is a registered NDIS provider delivering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology to participants across Melbourne and surrounds.
Understanding the NDIS
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government initiative that provides funding to people with permanent and significant disability. It gives participants choice and control over the supports they access to live a more independent and fulfilling life.
NDIS funding is broken into three support categories: Core Supports (everyday activities), Capital Supports (equipment and home modifications), and Capacity Building Supports — which is where allied health services like physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology sit.
As a registered NDIS provider, Allied Health Aid works with all plan management types — NDIA-managed, plan-managed, and self-managed — so you can access our services no matter how your plan is set up.
NDIA-Managed
We bill the NDIS directly. No out-of-pocket cost to you.
Plan-Managed
We invoice your plan manager. Simple and hassle-free.
Self-Managed
We invoice you directly and you claim reimbursement from the NDIS.
